Obesity is putting your Life at Stake

I don’t need to emphasize on the importance of a healthy living. But what bothers me is the fact that in spite of realizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle, why is that about 20 million of India’s population suffers from obesity and related problems? It can be understood that at times health related problems like underactive thyroid and several psychiatric drugs can add weight pounds to your body but what is highly disagreeable is that this ‘obesity-epidemic’ as many experts for weight reduction call it, can be widely seen in  people having a lot of junk food and not exercise.

weight reduction

You are obese if you weigh at least more than 20% of what is considered your normal weight in relation to your height.  Consumption of lots of calories and a sedentary lifestyle are mainly responsible hampering your weight reduction mechanism. Since you being over-weight is not a cosmetic problem, there are long lasting and life-threatening effects associated with it. Some common ones are-

-Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)

It is caused by the blockage of oxygen carrying coronary arteries and reduction in blood flow to the heart muscle. If left untreated can lead to heart failure.

-High Blood Pressure

A sustained increase or decrease in the pressure oxygenated blood puts against the walls of arteries while heart pumps the blood, can cause serious mortal problems. A diet to lose weight will come in handy to treat the condition.

-Type 2 diabetes

It is an ability of body to use insulin properly, exposing you to early death, CHD, stroke, kidney disease and blindness.

Try home-made remedies at first like green tea, drink hot water, start your day with honey, include vegetables and fruits in your diet to lose weight among many others which you can try.

Remember for enjoying everything else in your life you need to work hard towards leading a healthy and fit life.  Stay put and pump up a strong will and commitment will surely help you through.

Get a Glowing Skin on Your Wedding Day!

An amount that can only be imagined in a reverie is what goes into materializing a wedding into reality. Add another dimension- ‘efforts at making the bride look impeccable’, and you would know the actual stuff that goes into making a wedding a successful event.

Bridal make up is something that you wouldn't want to sacrifice in a million years. And that’s probably because you would never get a million chances to be a bride (or can you?!) There is always that one day where you would like to look nothing but the best; even ‘best’ would be an understatement.

The most important thing for a bride is to ensure that her skin looks healthy and glowing on her wedding day. Sounds like an easy deal, but only the bride can understand the wrath of an unhealthy looking skin that robs her off that warm wedding glow. In case the bride is battling with acne, she needs to pull her sleeves and socks up way before the D day to get rid of the monster. Acne treatments need to be commenced at least a month before you get busy with other preparations.

Start with exfoliating your skin using only a trusted brand of cream and lotion. Exfoliation is the key to skin revival, but make sure that you don’t overdo it. After all, excess of everything is bad!

Brutal exposure to sun is one of the major reasons why acne pop up shamelessly on your skin. Make sure that you don’t loiter into the sunlight for too long; even when you do, make sure that you have dollops of sunscreen plastered on your face. Sunscreen protects the skin form harsh damage and leaves your skin smooth and glowing, too.

Homemade remedies like Ice, Cinnamon and Honey, peels of Potato, paste of apple and honey and green tea bags can be applied raw on the face to give that wedding glow to your skin!

How Botox Can Be Breath Taking?

Many people nowadays are finding solutions to the most irritating skin problems that are acne and wrinkles that start coming to our face after a certain age. People have found so many solutions for acne treatments out of which some does not work and if some does, it is for a very short span of time. Botox injections are one of these ways that erases these wrinkles and acne spots temporarily from your face. This is one of the most quick and easy methods of erasing these problems from your skin but yes, like other solutions this is also a temporary one. This is popular just because it is an advanced method and even a quick one.

But how can we forget that, more advanced the solution is, more are the possibilities of having it's side effects. Generally people use them for months and sometimes for years. Basically, it comes in the crystalline form that can be carried from one place to another as all you need is to inject into your body whenever you want to. The problem comes when the substance that is there in it, which is also known as Botulinum toxin starts leaving it's effects if used in excess. It is one of the severe form of toxins that can be called as food poisoning that has long lasting negative effects that includes paralysis. Yes, it can be that serious and sometimes, it can even attack your nervous system. Trust me, if it works, it is the best method but once it loses it's way, it can be the worse.

You must know that the effects take place around 10-12 days after you have used the Botox injection. If it worked, well and good for you but if it didn't leave it at that very moment.

Using a Sunblock, Scrub and Hair Colour Effectively

Exposure to UVA or UVB accounts for 90% of the symptoms of untimely skin maturing that often lead to wrinkles. The most vital skin-care product offered to stop this is sunblock lotions, however most people do not make use of it properly. Crucial factors to consider with the use of sunscreen are the range of UV radiation absorbed, the quantity of sunscreen used, and the frequency of application.

An Effective Sunscreen

The SPF degree determines the amount of UVB absorption, however there is no technique of reporting this. The only method to identify if a sunscreen shields against UVA and UVB radiation is to look at the ingredients. A good broad-spectrum sunblock lotion must have an SPF of a minimum of 15 with protective agents.

sunscreen lotion

Sunscreen Application

Most people utilize sunscreen incorrectly by do not apply it enough. They use just 25% to 50% of the recommended amount. Lotions ought to be applied liberally to all sun-exposed areas such that it develops a film over the skin surface. It takes 20 to 30 minutes for the lotion to get absorbed by the skin, so it needs to be used at least half an hour before going out. Such lotions must also be the last to be applied on the face given that some sunscreens could damage the natural moisture.

Using a scrub for suntan removal

A body scrub is preferred for sun tan treatment. It not only de-tans but moisturizes your skin, leaving it smooth, soft and supple. It is finished with a rough product like salt, coffee, rice bran, almonds, pecan hulls, and generally combined with some sort of massage therapy oil for added skin benefits. If you use salt, it’s called a salt scrub, salt radiance or sea salt scrub. The exfoliation is followed with a shower and an application of a rejuvenating body lotion. Do note that this is not a massage therapy.

Colour your hair for added sun protection and external damages

Among the numerous reasons, I prefer using hair colour with this technique so much is that it looks great on nearly any individual and it's a great service to upsell. You'd be shocked how many customers would look dreadful if you place light colours at their roots, but when you place them below the hairline, it highlights sections in the most vivid yet subtle manner.
